Revolution is a liquid light-cured composite resin.

The combination of BIS-GMA resin, with a glass filler (60%) resulted in a liquid composite material applied directly into the cavity, which requires minimal final development.

It is used for:

• filling cavities class III, IV and V by. Black
• repair minor defects of enamel
• repair damaged porcelain restorations
• filling small cavities Class I and II areas not exposed to the forces of chewing
• fissure sealing
• cementation of composites and ceramic veneers
• prosthetic reconstruction

Procedure:

1. Isolate and dry the cavity.
2. Etch enamel and dentin for 15 seconds. with phosphonic acid 37.5% * (Kerr Gel Etchant). Rinse and carefully dry. Do not desiccate the dentine.
3. Apply a bonding system OptiBond Solo Plus. **
4. Choose the right shade. Squeeze an appropriate amount of material Revolution directly into the cavity, along the gingival margin. Spread the material so that it flowed into all intratrabecular recesses of defect.
5. The material layer should not be thicker than 2 mm. Polymerize at least 40sec. with polymerization lamp such as Demetron 500, 501 or wand-LC.

Finishing and Polishing using traditional method.

To give filling the final gloss you can apply one or two drops of the material to the surface, spread it with a brush and polymerize for 40 seconds.
