Improved formula of preparations Opalescence PF (potassium nitrate, fluoride) based on carbamide peroxide containing fluoride and potassium nitrate increases the comfort of the treatment. Addition of potassium nitrate and a fluoropolymer ion allows elimination or reduction of hypersensitivity during whitening.

pH of the Opalescence is about 6.5 (close to neutral). Preparation contains water, which reduces the risk of dehydration of the teeth.
